Tyneside Badminton Centre are excited to announce a new partnership with VICTOR and their UK partner Ransome Sporting Goods.

VICTOR are one of the top manufacturers of badminton equipment throughout the world with a big market share in Asia and in Europe and are the official supplier to a number of National Associations in Europe including Denmark, France, Netherland, Poland, Turkey, Scotland and Ireland.

Ransome Sporting Goods have been a supplier of badminton equipment for more than two decades with their Sure Shot brand, including being a partner with Badminton England for the schools BISI and Racket Packet programmes, plus holding supplier arrangements to the Scottish and Irish Badminton Associations are for their major events and national teams.

The multiple year partnership will include both product supply and sponsorship elements, with stock already available at the centre.

With over 45 years of experience across a range of sports, product supply to customers will be much improved, with Middlesbrough based Ransome Sporting Goods Group providing a next day delivery service on individual orders.

Alan Ransome, Managing Director of Ransome Sporting Goods Group, said: “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement to support and work with Tyneside Badminton Centre.

“We recognise the service that the centre is providing for badminton players in the North East and we are pleased to be able to introduce a number of promotional incentives designed to help the players with their badminton programme in the area.”

As well as providing shop stock to the centre, Ransome Sporting Goods Group will assist to increase and support the participation of junior badminton, including the centre’s new school coaching programme carrying the Sure Shot brand, while the Victor brand will feature on the Tyneside Sharks playing shirts.

This partnership highlights Tyneside Badminton Centre’s efforts to work in association with local businesses as well as increase junior participation within the sport.
