On Sunday we hosted the second Social Doubles Tournament here at Tyneside Badminton Centre.
After being postponed in July due to a lack of entries, we had a great day with 7 teams entering this time around.
In the first round, all teams played each other so we could get our top 4 and bottom 3 teams. They went on to play in their respective groups until we had the finalists for the day.
Marks ruled the final with Mark Holland and Mark Heron taking on Simon Entwistle and Mark Armstrong. It was a strong performance from both teams with the shuttle going back and forth but only one team could win in the end.
Mark Holland and Mark Heron won the game and took home the first place prizes.
We would like to say well done and thank you to everyone who took part on Sunday.
