If you are looking to take your first steps on the badminton coaching pathway, we have the course for you.
Badminton England are running their Foundation Badminton Coaching course here at Tyneside Badminton Centre.
The Foundation Award is the starting point for people who would like to get into coaching badminton and become a coaching assistant. The course will teach you to: lead fun games, activities and tournaments, understand the badminton landscape and structure in England, support a Level 2 coaching in the delivery sessions, deliver Badminton England progammes such as: No Strings & SmashUp!, effectively support the development of clubs and maximise participant experience.

- Date: Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th September 2022
- Time: 9am – 5pm on both days
- Venue: Tyneside Badminton Centre, Bowness Road, Slatyford, Newcastle, NE5 2TA
- Cost: £175 for Badminton England members & £195 for non-members
